Timeline for Exports Transitioning to Customs Declaration Service (CDS)

The Customs Declaration Service (CDS) is set to supersede the Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) system starting from 4th June 2024. Although the initial official deadline for adopting CDS for exports remains 30th March 2024, declarants will have until 4th June 2024 to complete the migration process entirely, following which CHIEF will cease to accept export entries.
